WordPress is a great platform for websites. It originally started life as a blogging platform but has developed into a full content management system and, with the addition of “static” pages it makes it a dynamic and flexible system for your web presence. You can have a brochure site, a blog, an e-commerce site or combination of them all.

The other great thing about WordPress is the software is free!

As a small business owner who built my own web sites, I constantly come across other business owners who were paying a lot of money for an initial website and then being charged every time they wanted to make a change to their site, or being tied into annual hosting at hign fees.
